Apprenticeships Start at KORSCH: Five Young Talents Begin Their Professional Journey
By welcoming five new apprentices, KORSCH once again demonstrates its strong commitment to investing in young talent and securing the company’s future. Four apprentices are beginning their training in Production, while another joins the IT Department. Through the education and development of skilled professionals, KORSCH continues to strengthen the expertise and innovation that will drive the company forward in the years to come.
A Successful Start at KORSCH
The first day began with a welcome from the training team and an introductory session, giving the new apprentices the opportunity to get to know one another in a relaxed atmosphere. For them, the start of their apprenticeship marks the beginning of their professional careers at KORSCH.
Following a company presentation and the mandatory safety briefing, the apprentices received their personal workwear and protective equipment. One of the highlights of the day was a group lunch with apprentices from more advanced training years, who shared valuable advice and insights from their own experiences.
The day concluded with a guided tour of the KORSCH Berlin Campus, where the new apprentices explored key areas of the company, from Development and the Innovation Center to Production, and gained their first comprehensive impression of KORSCH.
Apprenticeships as a Key Element of Corporate Development
Apprenticeship programs have been an integral part of KORSCH’s talent development strategy since 2004. Their goal is not only to provide technical expertise but also to prepare young people for successful professional careers while familiarizing them with values and culture of KORSCH.
KORSCH offers apprenticeships in a variety of technical, industrial, commercial, and IT professions, including:
- Mechatronics Technician
- Industrial Mechanic
- Cutting Machine Operator
- Electronics Technician for Industrial Engineering

These diverse apprenticeship programs reflect the wide range of career opportunities at KORSCH. Modern tablet compression technology combines mechanics, electronics, software, engineering, manufacturing, and customer focus, making apprenticeship training at KORSCH particularly exciting and multifaceted.
“Today’s apprentices are tomorrow’s skilled professionals. That is why we place great importance on providing them with comprehensive training, personal support, and a modern working environment from day one. We look forward to accompanying our new colleagues on their professional journey.”
Dorian Messelhäuser, HR Apprenticeship Program Manager at KORSCH
Personal Support From Day One
An experienced team of trainers supports the apprentices throughout their entire training program. They benefit from close and individualized guidance, both within the company and during external training phases.
In addition to hands-on experience at KORSCH, the program includes attending vocational school and, for most apprentices, basic training at the ABB Training Center Berlin. Through close coordination among all parties involved, KORSCH ensures that apprentices receive continuous support and develop both their professional expertise and personal skills.
Shaping the Future Together
The five new apprentices bring fresh ideas, curiosity, and enthusiasm to KORSCH. At the same time, they have the opportunity to learn from experienced colleagues and contribute to the company’s continued success.
We warmly welcome our new apprentices to KORSCH and wish them a successful start, valuable experiences, and every success as they begin their professional journey with us.
