TECHNICAL & CHEMICAL APPLICATIONS
KORSCH Presses for technical and chemical applications are built to operate in the most demanding production environments. The robust design and meticulous selection of materials and surface treatments, ensure extended run durations in any 24/7 production setting. The technical line permits large formats up to 64 mm tablet diameter and deep filling up to 60 mm.
The KORSCH Technical Line offers up to 200 kN compression force capability depending on the machine model. Roller guided or standard mushroom head press tools are available. Punch holders with rollers offer guidance on both sides and shafts with patented heavy duty profile heads permitting extremely high loads and eliminating wear on press tools and compression rollers.
Advanced surface treatments on the turret, die table, and press interior permit the processing of the most abrasive or corrosive products. Hardened steel guide bushings and cam track dramatically extend the life of the turrets and press tools.

BATTERIES
KORSCH has extensive experience and a wide range of presses for the full scope of compressed battery applications, including pellets for AAA, AA, C, and D size cells, as well as button cells.
DETERGENTS
KORSCH offers a range of presses for dishwashing applications, including large formats for single-layer, bi-layer, and tri-layer tablets. In most applications, the KORSCH press is fully integrated to a downstream packaging machine for maximum efficiency.
SALT
KORSCH presses for salt are designed to stand up to the most corrosive products – with advanced surface treatments on the turret, die table, and press interior. Hardened steel guide bushings and cam track dramatically extend the life of the turrets and press tools.
CATALYSTS
KORSCH presses for catalysts are equipped with advanced center pin technology that avoids powder migration in the cams and offers punch and center pin fracture monitoring.
Specialized configuration with two independently controlled lower punches is available for custom shapes.
OTHER APPLICATIONS
KORSCH offers a range of presses for ceramic oxide components, blanks for electronic industry, magnets, fertilizer tablets, sintered metal components, and airbag tablets.
