Two Machine Models
The XL 400 is offered in two versions: the XL 400 SFP provides dedicated single-layer capability, while the XL 400 MFP combines single-layer, multi-layer, and special applications. Both models share a common turret and interchangeable product contact parts for maximum efficiency and flexibility.
Highest Flexibility
The XL 400 MFP offers the flexibility to produce single-, bi-, tri-layer, tablet-in-tablet, and microchip-in-tablet product formats. The machine is preconfigured to permit the installation of a wide range of conversion kits consisting of compression roller, feeder, and cam track modules that permit a “plug and produce” approach for maximum versatility and efficiency.

Innovative Compression Stations
Now in its fourth generation, the XL 400 builds on our groundbreaking original design, which first introduced compression stations as roller columns. This innovation is the basis for a non-load bearing compression zone structure permitting a machine frame without corner columns and therefore ensuring unprecedented accessibility.
