The STYL’ONE Evo Compaction Simulator enables in-depth material characterization. It also provides real-time data to support tablet formulation development, from single-layer to complex forms like multi-layer or tab-in-tab, under production-like conditions. It replicates the compression dynamics of industrial rotary tablet presses to ensure a robust formulation that is ready for scale-up, minimizing risks, and accelerating the path to full-scale manufacturing.
Scale-up & Troubleshooting
By simulating high-speed rotary press conditions, the STYL’ONE Evo supports the determination of Critical Process Parameters (CPPs) and the definition of optimal recipe parameters of production presses, such as edge thicknesses and turret speed. It also allows troubleshooting of tablet defects emerging from production, like capping, lamination or sticking, with a minimal amount of product.

A Platform for Every Application
The STYL’ONE Evo can be equipped with a wide-range of instrumentation for advanced characterization including radial die wall pressure and take-off force measurement. The heated die and external lubrication features unlock the evaluation of temperature or lubricant rate sensitivity. The dry granulation simulation software allows roller compaction feasibility assessment while the GMP production module enables small batch production.
