Our Innovation Center supports customers around the world with formulation support, compression challenges and expert training — with a unique positioning: applied science, technical innovation, and hands-on expertise.

To support our international growth, we are recruiting our:

Head of the Application Laboratory – Lyon France

You lead a strategic department at the crossroads of science, technology, and customer relations.

Your Responsibilities

1. Management & Organisation

• Manage and develop the team.
• Set objectives, drive performance, and foster a collaborative working environment.
• Oversee activity planning and optimize resources (people, budgets, equipment).
• Ensure the implementation of the Quality & HSE policy.

2. Scientific expertise & customer projects on international scope

• Carry out trials, training courses and technical projects for our customers.
• Provide advanced expertise in formulation and compression to solve complex customer issues.
• Contribute to the design of our new products (machines, software).
• Provide support to Marketing to produce scientific content.
• Represent the company at scientific events, trade shows, and conferences.

3. Contribution to the international KORSCH network

• Represent MEDELPHARM within the global network of Innovation Centers of the KORSCH Group.

Your Profile

Your background

• Pharmacist with proven experience in pharmaceutical development / tablet formulation (pharmaceutical industry). Fluent English is essential.
• At least 5 years of management experience.
• Experience in international environments; CDMO experience is a plus.
• Expertise in compression processes is required.
