The single punch press XP 1 is a new development based on the basic mechanical principle of the proven and legendary KORSCH EK 0. Of course this new development satisfies all requirements made of a modern machine today. The XP 1 is a small, sturdy and handy machine. This press allows the fully automatic production of tablets with a diameter of up to 25 mm, the max. filling depth is 20 mm, the max. force of pressure is 50 kN and the number of lifts can be steplessly adjusted from 5 – 60 min-1.
Output
With max. 50 kN compression force the machine can produce up to 3.600 tablets/h. The single punch press is also suitable for smallest product volumes down to 10ml.

Feeder
This important product contact part is now manufactured from 316L material and complies with GMP and FDA standards. Flexibility in feeder size offers tablet compression with only 10ml material using the small recipe feeder or up to 3.600 tablets/h using the standard feeder.

PharmaResearch® was specially designed for recording and analysing pressing forces and the punch path. This system can record the data locally or forward it to a central memory on a SQL server in a central network for storage and analysis.
