Pharmaceutical Rotary Presses

The top of the XL press series is rounded off with the new XL 800. This machine has up to 95 punching stations, 4 x 100 kN force of pressure, high-performance production in 24-hour mode, long filling paths, flat curves, minimal loss of material and an excellent weight accuracy. A powerhouse full of patents. Unbeatably effective. Naturally, the machine also complies with all valid GMP and FDA regulations.

Output
With a pre pressing force of 40 kN and main pressing force of 100 kN in fully automatic, operator-free three-layer mode, this tablet press produces over 1.000.000 Tab/h.
Exchangeable Turret
New one-sided turret bearings. The complete turret can be removed in just 10 minutes. The whole machine can now be cleaned/retooled in a maximum of 2–4 hours instead of 12–20 hours.

Data Analysis
PharmaResearch® was specially designed for recording and analyzing pressing forces and the punch path. This system can record the data locally or forward it to a central memory on an SQL server in a central network for storage and analysis.

Sound Level
The carrier plate is detached from the machine casing via oscillation elements. This means that no oscillations or vibrations are transferred to the external machine structure. This makes the KORSCH XL sensationally quiet. The sound level is therefore well below 80 dBA.
